The Suddaby family name has gone hand in hand with the friendly North Yorkshire market town of Malton for over 100 years! For the eighth time in nine consecutive years we have been voted "Rural Pub of the Year" by Scarborough CAMRA.

BOOZE AND BLUES FESTIVAL - THURS 18TH AND FRI 19TH MAY - a great NEW EVENT to coincide with the MALTON FOOD LOVERS FESTIVAL- FEATURING THE FOLLOWING GREAT LINE UP:
Sharon Colgan Band : A fantastic singer with great timing, full on sound, and a brilliant set to finish off our first ever blues fest; great for dancing!
Half Deaf Clatch. : One of the best acts on at Beverley Blues Fest 2011, he got our attention and our vote!
Roger Suttcliffe : The man is the best singer/guitarist & teacher of the blues you're likely to meet, played onetime with Eric, toured in the US, still touring in Germany, and next year he'll be taking on a blues guitar workshop .
Declan & the Deltas : The band is a mix of age, youth,and talent, put together just for M.B&B.F and topped out with a brilliant guitarist.
Big Dave “T” : Great singer,musician &songwriter; with onstage presence second to none.
Dodgy Jim's Blues Band : Yes they're back, with a new set, a new drummer,same stunning bass player Dave Robinson and The Stig on lead guitar with DJ on Harp ; allegedly vocals too!
Smokestack Sunrise (Trio) : Get there early to see these guys, blues will live on with young talent like this.
